Patricia Day-Hookoomsing

Patricia is a qualified lecturer, trainer, tutor and researcher with a long and varied career in education and training in Mauritius. She is currently the owner and Managing Director of Consultancy Company Ltd (CCL), which is an independent private training firm. She is registered with the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA) as a trainer in the field of Human Resource Management and Development, and is an accredited trainer with the IFC GCGF on behalf of MIoD.

 

Prakash Deenapanray ( Sanju)

Prakash (Sanju) is a Director of ELIA-Ecological Living In Action Ltd since 2010 and a Director of the Centre for Systemic Planning since 2013.  Heholds a Bachelor of Systems Engineering (Interdisciplinary Program) from the Australian National University (ANU), MSc in Physics from the University of Pretoria (South Africa), PhD in Semiconductor Physics ANU, and MBA in Technology Management from LaTrobe University (Australia). He has published over 130 research articles, technical and policy papers, and generated patents while developing novel thin-film silicon solar cells technologies for photovoltaic applications.

Sanju has worked for the Mauritius Research Council and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). With UNDP, he managed the climate change (mitigation and adaptation) portfolio for Mauritius, and provided technical backstopping to UNDP Regional CDM Capacity Development Program in Eastern and Southern Africa.

Sanju is a member of the following organisations and initiatives: UNDESA’s Technical Advisory Group supporting the development of the Vulnerability-Resilience Profile (VRP) methodology for SIDS (since 2012), UNEP’s Expert Group for developing an Inclusive Green Growth Index, the Mauritius

Sustainability Index Supervisory Committee, the Mauritius Institute of Directors, and the System Dynamics Society.

 

Benoit Maingard

Benoit is the CEO of Maingard and Associates Ltd, a company specializing in organizational development & Training.

Benoit started his professional career in South Africa in 1984. He joined a U.K. based Training Consultancy, i.e. MAST Training Consultants in 1990. He gained valuable consultancy and training experience with MAST through organisations in the UK, USA and South Africa. In late 1992, he set up and managed MAST Training Consultants (Mauritius), in partnership with Coopers and Lybrand Mauritius. In 1997, MAST (S.A.) was bought out on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and Benoit used this opportunity to start his own consultancy.

Benoit has delivered training and consulting services in numerous countries spanning Asia, Africa, Europe and USA. He has also been part of a team to facilitate a business simulation for MBA students at Harvard Business School   for 5 consecutive years.

 

Zarina Moorad

Zarina is a lawyer, trainer and business executive leadership coach. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences with majors in Law and Psychology from the University of Natal (Durban). She also went on to complete a Postgraduate degree in Law with special focus on Commercial Law and Alternate Dispute Resolutions from the same University. She started her career in mainstream legal practice in South Africa before coming to Mauritius and entering the corporate world. She has 15 years of experience working in Mauritius, South Africa and in the Channel Islands. Zarina is an accredited trainer in Corporate Governance and Board Leadership with the Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF), an arm of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and she is a member of the South African Law Society.

 

Anneloes Smitsman

Anneloes Smitsman, (Ph.D(c), LLM), is the Founder & CEO of EARTHwise Centre & co-Founder & Custodian of WOMENwise. She is a published author, storyteller, custodian, legal strategist, leadership trainer, and system developer for transformational change and whole system learning & innovation. Her unique training programs, teachings, and wisdom-based methodologies have empowered people and organisations from around the world to develop, optimize and actualise their true potential by accessing more directly our collective intelligence and wisdom. She is the author of Love Letters from Mother Earth, a collection of 13 Letters in the voice of our Earth Mother for the actualization of our collective wisdom potentials.

 

Françoise White

Françoise has moved from being a hands-on HR specialist in the Manufacturing and Commercial sectors to more strategic roles, namely as Business Partner for Risk, Corporate Banking and Treasury at the Barclays Regional office in Johannesburg. She is now a Partner/Director of White & White Associates Ltd. – a Learning & Development company delivering L & D initiatives mainly in the area of Leadership/Talent development and Change both locally and in the region. She holds a degree in Law from Montpellier University and has done advanced studies in Management at Georgia State University, Atlanta. She now uses her experience as a trainer, facilitator and executive coach. Françoise is an accredited trainer with the Global Corporate Governance Forum.

 

Bruneau Woomed

Bruneau is the Managing Director of Go Meta Ltd and of Business Magic Ltd, has had a long career in the financial sector, more specifically in insurance and pensions. He was a Senior Manager at La Prudence Insurance and the General Manager of Feber Associates, a pensions management company until 2006 when he created his consultancy. He is an experienced trainer in management related fields (e.g. strategy, finance, communication, creativity) and he is an accredited trainer in Corporate Governance for MIoD. Bruneau is a Certified Meta-Coach, a Master NLP Practitioner and an International Neuro-Semantics Trainer certified by the International Society of Neuro-Semantics.
